A sister ship to Queen Victoria but very much with her own personality and a capacity of 2,090 guests.
As with Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria, accommodation is split into Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia.
For those guests looking for single seating or flexible dining, then Queen Elizabeth has a new dedicated Britannia Club restaurant. This is allied to Premium Balcony cabins and represents tremendous value for money. For those more value-conscious guests, rather than trading up to Princess Grill they could, perhaps, opt for the Britannia Club option and we believe this will be very popular indeed.
Dining
More choice than ever before. As with her sister ships, Queen Elizabeth has the famed Queens Grill, Princess Grill and Britannia dining rooms. As well as the new Britannia Club offering single seating dining, we also have The Verandah. This is an alternative restaurant themed on the original Verandah Grill restaurant on Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth. It offers the absolute best in fine French cuisine. With many guests today seeking more alternative dining options, we have also added three alternative dining venues in the evening in the Lido Restaurant. We have the Aztec (fine Mexican), Jasmine (beautiful Asian food) and Asado (an Argentinian meat experience). All of these are very contemporary and we believe add terrific variety.
Entertainment
The Theatre on board Queen Elizabeth is second to none and we have created the Queen Elizabeth Theatre Company. This is an innovative move with a theatre company of 21 people who will provide the very best in West End production shows as well as featuring Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Neil Simon plays and a range of other very contemporary entertainment. In addition we will have our excellent Insight lecture programme and a high quality range of entertainment around the ship.
Sports
Up top, under a beautiful canvas canopy, we hark back to days of the 20's and 30's with the Cunard Sports Deck. We have English Garden Bowls, Croquet and Paddle Tennis in a beautiful area - this will be really good fun.
Bars
We have the signature Commodore Club, Carinthia Cafe, Midships Bar, The Yacht Club and of course the Golden Lion Pub.
Other Features
The Garden Lounge is a beautiful new room modelled on Kew Gardens with a number of different activities including Supper Clubs, Champagne Tea Afternoons and other events. The double height Library with spiral wooden staircase boasts over 6,000 books. Our Royal Arcade shops feature new relationships with Fortnum and Mason, Hackett, Penhaligans and Harris Tweed. We have a new Clarendon Fine Art Gallery offering the best of contemporary art, including original and signed prints by Rolf Harris. The famous Queens Room simply offers the best dancing experience at sea - there is a very strong market for people who like to dance and Cunard Line, and in particular the Queens Room, is simply the best way for experienced dancers - be they traditional dancers or Strictly Come Dancing fans.
